I was looking at you through the hazy lilac sky. The
path was narrow leading to you and I had to choose whether to run to you. I
knew you were also looking at me with your bright blue eyes and just like ocean
tides strike the shore, you struck me with your gaze. We looked at each other
very near yet so far away. Then, I started to remember all the things you used
to whisper in my ear in our sleepless nights; secrets of the shadows of the
night. When I would hear your heartbeat just like music or when we'd dance
beneath the moonlight in the woods. You'd take my hand and we'd dance to the
bitter-sweet melody of jazz songs while we thought the time was eternal as long
as we were together. But life goes on and things change and mistakes are to be
done. I didn't choose to lose you yet I lost you anyway. For good? Who knows?
Only destiny will decide.
